I dunno… It sounds more like a cleverly constructed video meant to look as if it were created by the Independents who have become disillusioned, but actually I suspect the people who created it did NOT help elect the Democrat Majority. Still, it’s a good message.
Probably, but it’s a sentiment I’ve been hearing more & more lately, so for now I’m taking it at face vallue until presented with evidence to the contrary…
I must say, I was surprised when an extremely liberal family member of mine wrote about how dissatisfied he is with the current administration, saying that they must not have meant it when they spouted about “hope” and change.” For once I actually agreed with him. LOL
I am reaaessing what it means to be an ‘independent ‘ ie both those who claim they ‘vote for the person’ and those who take the moniker ‘blue dog Democrat.’ When ‘The One’ was elected, there was a cosmic collision of the hard left, those enamored with choosing a half-black, ‘independents’ who had no policitcal frame of reference and a non-conservative ‘progressive’ Republican to vote against. I pray that such a collision will not repeat itself. Conservatives must speak loudly and clearly to assure it doesn’t occur a second time.
Take heart - even with a ‘Perfect Storm’ that should have resulted in a landslide Dem-victory, The One still only managed 52%
We’ll whup ‘em yet.
I’m out here in the liberal stronghold of San Francisco and the comments I constantly hear from customers at the store, hard core liberal customers who before the election had their Obama shirts and “Yes We Can” bumper stickers, are things like “I can’t believe they are voting for that” (meaning the health care bill), “I thought he was supposed to change things in Washington.” and comments like that.
When even the hardcore liberals are on his case, you know there’s problems.
